We are the Church of England churches in the Cambridgeshire villages of Meldreth – Holy Trinity and Melbourn – All Saints.

We care for our ancient buildings, support the work and ministry of our Vicar, Associate Priest, and congregation, and aim to be a blessing to our communities.

We receive no government funding, and are entirely reliant on donations to keep the churches open, and for its ministry to the community, to continue. Like so many other charities, we have been hit very hard by the COVID-19 outbreak. Our churches have not been able to hold services, and the lack of baptisms and weddings in them has meant we have had no donations or fees income.

We ask you to donate what you can to help us be here for the future to help the communities of Melbourn and Meldreth in times of joy and sadness – to be able to be here for people’s baptisms, weddings, and funerals.

Please consider giving what you can – and if you would usually support one of our fundraising events, please consider giving a donation equal to, or perhaps even more, to what you usually would give.

Thank you – on behalf of the community – to both those whose efforts have enabled us to be here today, and for those in the future who will come after us.
